Terms of Service.

Norma provides an AI-powered compliance intelligence platform including gap analysis, policy generation, trust center hosting, risk register, vendor management, and continuous monitoring features (“the Service”).

The Service is intended for business use. The outputs it produces — gap reports, policy documents, compliance assessments — are AI-generated and constitute informational guidance only. They do not constitute legal advice. You remain responsible for your organisation’s compliance.

You must be 18 or older and have authority to bind your organisation to create an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You may not share account credentials with third parties outside your organisation.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models
• Use the Service to generate misleading compliance certifications
• Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Scrape, resell, or commercialise the Service outputs without our written permission

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are shown exclusive of VAT. VAT is applied where applicable under EU law.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.

All payments are processed by Stripe. Norma does not store payment card details.

We reserve the right to change pricing on 30 days’ written notice. Existing subscribers on annual plans are not affected until renewal.

You retain all rights to documents, policies, and other content you upload to the Service (“Your Content”). By uploading, you grant Norma a limited, non-exclusive licence to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.

We do not use Your Content to train AI models or share it with third parties, except as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service, including all software, AI models, brand assets, and documentation, is owned by Norma AI Ltd. and protected by intellectual property laws.

AI-generated outputs (gap reports, policy documents) are provided to you under a limited licence for your internal compliance use. You may not resell or white-label them without our written consent.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”. AI-GENERATED COMPLIANCE OUTPUTS ARE INFORMATIONAL ONLY AND DO NOT CONSTITUTE LEGAL ADVICE. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY PARTICULAR COMPLIANCE OUTCOME WILL BE ACHIEVED.

Norma does not guarantee that use of the Service will result in regulatory approval, certification, or successful audit outcomes.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NORMA’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Norma shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or regulatory fines resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Either party may terminate at any time. On termination, your right to access the Service ends. We will retain your data for 90 days post-termination to allow export, after which it will be deleted.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where required by law.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the country of Norma AI Ltd.’s registration. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that country.

We will notify you of material changes to these Terms by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
